Accident & Health Business Offers Fresh Opportunities For P&C Program Insurers

While program carriers have found property & casualty business opportunities in everything from auto repossessors to fine arts in recent months and years, some are eyeing new business potential in the accident and health space.

Executives from the program business units of Zurich North America and QBE the Americas spoke to NU's E&S/Specialty Lines Extra about the development of a&h programs at their companies. They also reviewed their appetites for programs in the p&c sector, where each company writes more than 70 programs.
